PROM NITE 2005
on last sat (9 apr), our School Of Engineering - MDE: MultiDiscipline Engineering - had a celebration for our grad ~ PROM NITE...
it is held at Pan Pacific Hotel.. we had a 8 course chinese meal for $70.. exp rite..?? at 1st, it is said to be held at Hyett Hotel at Orchard area for $85.. even more exp rite..?? den my course - QME, nobody agreed on the price and the games, so nobody signed up for the PN.. den our lecturers "beg" us to go, but still nobody agrees... haha...
den later they decided to change the place to Pan Pac and lower the price.. so we all decided to go coz it's our last time gather together, so juz go lor... hahha.. sound a bit sad hor..?? haha...
so we decided to go, den haf to search for dress and shoes, do our make-ups and hairdos... den i found a dress at $18 only... got a bag for $15.90 and a necklace for $9.90.. CHEAP rite..?? i mean for the dress and the bag.. haha.. BUT u know wat..?? nobody guess the rite price for my dress... they all tot it's cost over 50bucks.. haha.. so my plan works..!! and i managed to save on the shoes too... it's a cover-toe heels which i shared wif my mom on Chinese New Year.. haha... den i ask my fren to help mi on my hairdo and juz put on lip stick and lip gloss will do..
den met my frenz at city hall interchange at 6pm.. as usual, some of them are late... haha.. waited for them for ard 30mins, den we made our way to the Pan Pac.. den when we reach there, it was already quite packed wif people liao.. so we make our registration den proceed to the ballroom.. this prom nite consist of 3 courses, the Engineering Informatics, Logistics Management and my course, Quality Management & Engineering.. but u know wat..?? there's only.. i said again, ONLY... 1 table for qme... coz there's only 11 people signed up for the dinner... sad rite..?? haha... however there's only total of 9 tables for the students and 2 tables for the VIP.. haha... quite sad... den we had the games, the FOOD, and den the lucky draws.. for our table, there's only 5 of us got the prizes... den later we had our photo taking sections... i took only 20+ pic, coz my camera low batt... hahah... anyway not much fun, so didnt take alot too.. haha.. den aft the lucky draw, we left... some went home, some went to clubbing.. our table didnt stay for the disco at the later part... and for mi, i went to look for my bf... at tanjong pagar... den we took a cab back to jurong to take his bike (which he left at his fren's place), den he send mi home... quite tired, but fun too... haha....
